Chelsea and Jack - The Old Deanery Ripon

Some weddings stay with you long after the flowers have faded, and Chelsea and Jack’s June wedding at The Old Deanery in Ripon was very much one of those days.

Set within the historic heart of Ripon, The Old Deanery provided the most beautiful backdrop for a relaxed, romantic celebration. From the very beginning, Chelsea had a clear vision for her wedding flowers — soft, feminine and timeless, with a gentle summer palette that would sit perfectly alongside the bridesmaids’ blush pink dresses.

For Chelsea’s bouquet, we chose a delicate blend of soft blush and ivory tones, creating something that felt effortless, natural and full of movement. Garden-style roses in pale pinks and creams were paired with seasonal textures and airy florals, giving the bouquet a light, romantic feel while still feeling considered and artful.

The bridesmaids’ flowers were designed to complement their pink dresses beautifully, tying the whole look together without feeling overly styled. Everything was intended to feel harmonious, natural and thoughtfully curated.

One of the things that matters most to me on a wedding day is making sure the flowers work throughout the celebration. After the ceremony, I returned to The Old Deanery once the room had been turned around for the wedding breakfast, checking and adjusting the table arrangements so everything looked just right for the next part of the day. It’s those quiet moments behind the scenes that ensure everything flows seamlessly.
