Choosing your wedding flowers should feel exciting and inspiring — not overwhelming. At Paeony Petals, my aim is to make the process as simple, transparent, and enjoyable as possible, from your very first enquiry through to the final booking of your wedding flowers.
This guide walks you through how to enquire, what information I need to create an accurate quotation, and what happens once you decide to book.

Step 1: Making an Enquiry
The journey begins by getting in touch via the enquiry form on my website. This is the best way to tell me about your wedding plans and floral ideas, and it allows me to check availability for your date.
At this stage, you don’t need to have everything finalised — many couples are still exploring ideas, and that’s completely fine. The more detail you can share, the better, but inspiration images, mood boards, or even just a few descriptive words are all helpful starting points.

Step 2: Information Needed for Your Quotation
To create a tailored floral quotation, I’ll ask for some key details about your wedding. These help me understand the scale, style, and logistics of your day.
Essential Wedding Details
Your wedding date
Ceremony and reception venues
Your overall wedding style (romantic, modern, relaxed, elegant, etc.)
Your colour palette, if you have one
Floral Requirements
A rough idea of the flowers you may need, such as:
Bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets
Buttonholes and corsages
Ceremony arrangements
Reception flowers (table arrangements, top table, installations, etc.)
You don’t need to know exact quantities or flower varieties — that’s something I can guide you through.
Budget Guidance
Sharing a realistic floral budget is incredibly helpful. It allows me to design proposals that align with your expectations and ensures I can suggest the most impactful use of flowers for your day.
To ensure I can give each wedding the care, attention, and quality it deserves, Paeony Petals works with a minimum spend of £500 for wedding flower bookings. This allows me to create cohesive, considered floral designs using seasonal flowers and premium materials.
Budgets don’t need to be rigid, but even a general range helps me create a meaningful and achievable proposal.

Step 3: Receiving Your Quotation
Once I’ve reviewed your enquiry, I’ll create a bespoke quotation based on your information. This will outline:
Proposed floral elements
Estimated costs
Any notes or suggestions tailored to your wedding
At this stage, we can refine details, adjust quantities, or explore alternative options to ensure everything feels right for you.

Step 4: Booking Your Wedding Flowers
When you’re happy to proceed, your date is secured with:
A signed booking agreement
A booking fee, which confirms your wedding in my diary
Once booked, you can relax knowing your wedding flowers are in safe hands. We’ll continue to refine details as your day approaches, with final consultations usually taking place closer to the wedding date when plans are more settled.

A Calm, Collaborative Process
My approach is collaborative and considered — I’m here to guide you, offer expertise, and bring your floral vision to life in a way that feels effortless and enjoyable.
If you’re ready to enquire about your wedding flowers, you can get started via the enquiry form on my website. I can’t wait to hear all about your plans.
