A celebration of timeless romance in blush pinks and burgundy
Some weddings stay with you long after the flowers have been packed away — and Sharon and Gary’s day at the breath-taking Hooton Pagnell Hall was one of those unforgettable celebrations. Set against the historic charm of this Yorkshire estate, their wedding blended elegance, warmth, and heartfelt family touches from beginning to end.

Sharon’s vision was soft, romantic, and full of depth — a palette of blush pinks paired with rich burgundy tones. This combination brought a luxurious warmth to the day, perfectly complementing the stone architecture and lush grounds of Hooton Pagnell.
From the bridal bouquet to the ceremony arrangements and table florals, the colours worked in harmony to create a look that was both modern and timeless. The blush tones added softness and femininity, while the burgundy brought richness and drama — a perfect reflection of the couple’s style.

Sharon looked absolutely radiant in her gown from Wed2Be Rotherham, complete with accessories and a veil that added just the right amount of sparkle. Her bridesmaids, also dressed by Wed2Be, echoed the romantic palette beautifully.
Her look was finished with:
Hair by Andrea at English Rose Salon
Makeup by lizzybrownemakeup
Nails by Sarah at English Rose Salon
Shoes from Kurt Geiger — the perfect blend of style and comfort for a full day of celebrating

The men looked incredibly sharp, each with their own touch of personality:
Gary’s suit — a sophisticated choice from Giorgio Armani, Madrid, bringing international flair to the Yorkshire countryside
Dad and the Best Men — suited by Tweed and Groom, based at The Heritage Centre in Barnsley, adding a classic, tailored finish
Mum’s outfit — a stunning ensemble from Snooty Frox, Harrogate, elegant and full of character

Every moment — from the morning preparations to the evening celebrations — was beautifully documented by:

Their work captured the emotion, laughter, and all the little details that made the day uniquely Sharon and Gary.

One of the most heart warming parts of this wedding was knowing that the planning was a true family effort. Sharon and her mum took on the role of wedding planners themselves — and they absolutely nailed it. Every detail felt personal, thoughtful, and full of meaning.

The reception space at Hooton Pagnell Hall looked breath-taking, dressed in soft candlelight and lush florals that carried Sharon and Gary’s blush‑and‑burgundy palette seamlessly into the evening. At either end of the top table stood two elegant candelabras, each adorned with cascading floral arrangements that added height, drama, and a sense of timeless romance.
In the centre of the table, a full, abundant floral arrangement created a stunning focal point — rich with texture, movement, and those signature soft tones. Scattered amongst the flowers, floating candles added a warm, flickering glow, bringing the whole tablespace to life as guests gathered for the celebration. The combination of florals and candlelight created an atmosphere that felt intimate, luxurious, and deeply personal to the couple.

Guests were treated to delicious food by EatMeDrinkMe, adding flavour and flair to the reception. The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful, and full of love — exactly what Sharon and Gary had hoped for.
A true showstopper of the day was the beautifully crafted semi‑naked cake by Pink Peppercorn. Decorated with soft blush and cream florals and finished with delicate gold touches, it tied perfectly into the wedding’s romantic colour palette. Elegant, modern, and full of charm — it was a centrepiece guests couldn’t stop admiring.

Sharon and Gary’s wedding was a celebration of love, family, and timeless style. From the rich floral palette to the heartfelt touches woven throughout the day, it was an honour to be part of their story.
If you’re dreaming of a romantic colour palette or planning your own Hooton Pagnell celebration, this wedding is proof that blush pinks and burgundy are a match made in heaven.
